SWAT TEAM (Spiritual Worship And Teaching Team)

The S.W.A.T Team is a completely student run organization that leads the school in all of the spiritual activities. The S.W.A.T Team includes a president, vice-president, and a series of S.W.A.T officers each, with a specific duty that they are responsible to fulfill.  Students have the opportunity to do community work by participating in serving at soup kitchens, Ronald McDonald House and many other places. NJUCA students visit and minister in local schools through drama, music and speaking. The junior high SWAT Team participates in mentoring groups led by a staff member. The mentoring groups participate in a variety of ministries throughout the year. Every member of the high school SWAT Team will join a focus group where they meet weekly to do a variety of ministries.

Examples of focus groups:

• Worship team: leads in worship for chapel

• Technology team: various jobs

• Mission team: sponsors a different missionary organization each month

• Chapel group: prepares for different chapel programs

• Drama group: prepares skits for different occasions

• Encouraging group: finds fun ways to keep students enthusiastic

• Prayer group: prays for student prayer requests
